Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 picks up the story with a darker and more complex narrative that delves deep into the past of Satoru Gojo and his former friend Suguru Geto. Set in the summer of 2006, the season begins with a flashback arc that explores their younger days as students at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
